Description:Monna Claudia is aged in French barrique (60% of which are new) for 18 months, and is only bottled in exceptional years from the most exclusive selection of 50% Sangiovese and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon from the famed Viacosta vineyard.
Monna Claudia is very dark garnet red in color. The wine shows intense Morello cherry aromas with coffee and freshly turned earth. There is a great cherry and blackberry core to the flavor profile, ripe yet firm tannins help the fruit fully emerge in the mouth.
